The Stone on the Path

The man was walking in the park when he tripped on a rock and broke his nose. In the clinic, he made small talk with a woman. They had a lot in common, so they kept in touch. They became friends, then lovers, then spouses. The man started cheating, and soon the two divorced. The woman moved away, and had to drive a different route to work. It was on that route that another car crashed into her. She was killed. The man mourned alone and died soon after. All because of one rock on the path.
